    I’m searching for any documentation for Charles Garrott/Charles Guerrant between 1770 and 1780, He was born circa 1735 in Amelia County. He and his family had land in Buckingham and Prince Edward Counties, but I can find no public record reference to him in the 1775-1780 time frame. So far, I haven’t found him in the parish records. He had a son named after him and I find several references post 1780 that refer to him, but not to his father. Can you possibly help in any way? I know the father’s will was probation in late 1782.
