Dear Reader,
We are very thankful amongst the Holman, Hooper, Moseley, Spencer, Ayres clan for the diligent efforts of Cousin Joanne to keep us all connected in a time when few of us still live in Buckingham County. This has been truly a labor of love for her, and she needs a hearty cheer. Ho-o-o-o-r-a-y!!
Harry Stuart Holman
Thank you Harry! Let us not forget Agee, Woodson, Harris, Maxey, Winfrey, etc. etc. etc. !
Joanne This is great!! Keep up the good work!!!!! Looking forward to meeting you one day. Maybe Cousin Harry can arrange it.
George Cauble
P.S. My wife’s grandfather was a Putney (from Buckingham and Farmville)
Thanks, George. Putney is a fine Buckingham family. I hope to see you and your wife in Richmond for my book talk at the Library of Virginia on October 1st, at Noon. I’ll be discussing THE JEFFERSON BROTHERS.
Thank you for all the stories on the area and it’s people. My ancestors are from Buckingham and your stories have a way of bringing their lives back to life
Andrea, Thanks for joining us!
Will there be any birthday cake?
I’m saving the cake for the first year anniversary.
